I am fascinated by the environments that we create, the feeling, the essence of a design.
Our environments can be very evocative, subtle, or freeing for the users to experience different things.
Sarah Pulling, IIDA
Born and raised in the artistic community of Silver City, New Mexico, Sarah spent summers immersed in the pristine backcountry wilderness, backpacking with her family and later working for the Forest Service in the Gila Wilderness. Completing undergraduate work at TCU, Sarah’s sense of adventure led her to Argentina where she worked in men’s fashion and studied drawing and architecture. Returning to New Mexico after several years in Buenos Aires, Sarah joined SMPC in 2008 where she continues her aspirations and career in interior design. Sarah is passionate about innovation in design and the sculptural qualities of architectural space and form. She strives to understand client needs and values in order to deliver a unique project. She enjoys the process of building relationships and collaborating with clients. Up and out of the office, Sarah is an enthusiastic rock climber. She is, also, a soccer fanatic, and on Saturdays you will most likely find her playing with her indoor soccer team or coaching her son’s team.
