Good documentation is critical to understanding a project.

I really work to produce excellent construction documents that are well coordinated and clearly define the project as intended.

Vincent Payne, AIA

Principal, Architect

Born in Winnemucca, Nevada and raised in Santa Fe, Vince came to SMPC in 2007 as an accomplished construction manager with fourteen years of experience coordinating contracts with important government and public entities including Sandia National Laboratories, the United States Postal Service, and UNM. Vince is a meticulous project manager and patient mentor. He is an invaluable resource at the SMPC office for all sorts of quandaries. Ask Vince. He knows. Beneath his steadfast demeanor is a man of many talents. Who would have known he is licensed pilot, has his very own tractor and is an aficionado of heavy metal music. When he’s not managing people or projects at the office, he can be found at his home in the East Mountains, working on his property, or hiking with his wife and three dogs.
