On July 29, 1996, Los Alamos Bank moved its headquarters into its first new building since the financial institution was founded in 1963. Located in the heart of the city’s business district, the four-story contemporary glass, concrete and ceramic tile structure is fully occupied. The 71,000 square foot building was designed to include the latest treatments in energy efficient technology and lighting, as well as to take advantage of the spectacular panoramic views of the region. The bank’s new building features a six-lane drive-up, with one lane devoted to a 24-hour ATM service.
