Tempur-pedic Manufacturing Plant

The new Tempur Production facility is home to the Swedish mattress company’s latest manufacturing facility and is the world’s largest mattress factory. The facility is located on the West Side of Albuquerque on 50 acres. This manufacturing building is approximately 800,000 s.f., making it the state’s second largest non-government building. Interior spaces vary in height from 25’ to 45’. The building skin is designed as a combination of insulated concrete panels and insulated metal panels and the colors are natural earth tones to blend with the landscape. Interior walls are primarily concrete or concrete masonry.
