CNM: Learning Resource Center

The new learning resources center is located in the northeast quadrant of the CNM Joseph M. Montoya campus. It is a 10,000sf addition to Building “J”. The challenge was threefold:

- The first was to create a “state of the art” learning resource center. This is one of the most advanced Teleconferencing facilities in Albuquerque, serving a broad range of “distance learning” needs.

- The second challenge was to design an addition that would relate well to existing campus buildings. This was accomplished through the careful selection of brick and other exterior materials to insure the building would successfully blend into the campus palette.

- The third challenge was to move the Library entrance from the west end of Building “J” and establish a new main entrance to the north.
