UNM: Castetter Hall
The first phases of this renovation project involved a major remodeling of 19,000 square feet of the lower basement level, converting it from under-utilized animal labs into modern teaching labs, lecture rooms and faculty offices. In addition there is a 2500 SF ground floor renovation for research labs and a ground floor addition of about 2000 SF for new basement access and mechanical support. The work includes major renovation of an existing exterior courtyard to provide additional student activity space, improved access to the basement level, and screened experiment areas.
