“My personal architectural satisfaction comes from my involvement in project cultivation through the conversion of lines and symbols on pieces of paper to the physical built reality”

Vincent Payne, AIA

Principal / Architect

Vince came to SMPC in 2007 as an accomplished construction manager with fourteen years of experience coordinating contracts with important government and public entities including Sandia National Laboratories, the United States Postal Service, and UNM. Vince is a meticulous project manager and patient mentor. He is an invaluable resource at the SMPC office for all sorts of quandaries. Beneath his steadfast demeanor is a man of many talents. Who would have known he is licensed pilot, avid motorcyclist, and is an aficionado of heavy metal music. When he’s not managing people or projects at the office, he can be found at his home in the East Mountains, working on his property, or hiking with his wife and three dogs.
