“I enjoy implementing deeper meanings into design, even though it may not be seen or noticed immediately, it can be felt and experienced.”

Chrystal Taliman, IIDA

Senior Associate / Licensed Interior Designer

Chrystal grew up outside of her Native American communities – at a young age she noticed a difference in quality of life between more urban communities where she was living and where her families came from. She began to realize the impact built-environments have on individuals and how this effects life, safety and well-being.

Her perspective embraces the importance and sustainability of culture and creatively reflects this both in design and the environment she surrounds herself with. Her goal is to incorporate culturally based idealism to invoke a balance between functionality and aesthetics to provide positive environments, that can be experienced both physically and mentally.

Chrystal spends much of her free time with her family – a household of four boys who have taught her that life is an on-going adventure meant to be lived, regardless of the mountains or valleys encountered along the journey, there is always love and support for one another.
