April 4, 2022:  the State of New Mexico Administrative Office of the Courts broke ground on the new Valencia County Magistrate Courthouse in the historic Heart of Belen.

This milestone is the culmination of many months of collaborative effort involving the client leadership team, consultants, community members and general contractor. Members of the design and construction team from SMPC and Bradbury Stamm were on hand, as well as project leadership from the State of New Mexico Administrative Office of the Courts, honorable judges and community members from Belen.

New Magistrate Courthouses are also being built in Lovington and Ruidoso based on the prototype design developed by the AOC/SMPC/Bradbury Stamm team.
