“The pencil and the computer are, if left to their own devices, equally dumb and only as good as the person driving them”

– Sir Norman Foster

Devon Adams

Intern Architect

Devon Adams is a recent graduate of the University of New Mexico, School of Architecture and Planning Master’s Program. Albuquerque has been Devon’s home for 25 years and continues to be a place of community and inspiration for him. Art and music, as well as architecture, have always been a part of his life. From playing guitar and other string instruments to designing a new furniture piece, Devon is always looking for his next creative outlet. Architecture gives him the chance to take that creative energy and engage with his community. So he hopes to compose architecture that reflects the unique cultures in Albuquerque. This has led Devon to join SMPC, which allows him to pursue that ambition with the firm’s support at every turn.
