“It is most gratifying to work on renovation projects that reuse or repurpose buildings.”

Glenn H. Fellows, FAIA

Principal Emeritus / Architect

Glenn loves Lobo Basketball. He has been to almost every home game since 1964 and can often be seen in the crowd during the local evening news sports segment. Prior to graduating from Valley High School in Albuquerque, Glenn and his family traveled all over the world led by his father, an Air Force Colonel. As a Principal of SMPC for more than thirty years, Glenn has brought kindness and generosity to the firm as well as leadership, mentorship, problem solving, and design inspiration. His contributions to the architecture profession and to his alma mater earned him the recognition of Distinguished Alumni by the UNM School of Architecture and Planning in 2007. He has spent much of his career at SMPC coordinating partnerships with other local and national design firms perhaps best exemplified by teaming with UNM classmate and former Associate Sandy Eeds and Populous on the Isotopes Ballpark renovation. Glenn is a committed patron of the arts and is an avid golfer, skier, and gardener.
